The DMS Wants to Know!

Monday's Riddle swept us out to sea, and Lizzy's review of Sea Cutter: Book 1 in The Chronicles of Nathaniel Childe by Timothy Davis was an ocean adventure. Thursday on Top of the Heap, we enjoyed sharing our ghostly boat stories with you, and Friday, Randi Barrow drifted by to tell us about the story behind her story, Finding Zasha. Today, we'd love to hear from you!

The DMS Wants to Know:
What type of boat would you like to sail away into the sunset on?

We'll tell you ours, if you tell us yours!

  1. Wow, wow, wow, that photo is amazing! of the silhouette against the sunset! Ahoy, Capt. Rich Haight!

Let's see, what kind of boat would I like to sail away on? Great question! Being a kid at heart and a children's author, I'd have to pick the Good Ship Lollipop, since Huck Finn's raft doesn't count as a boat, and it might get a little crowded!

    1. Hi Lynn- Thanks! :)

The Good Ship Lollipop would probably be a lot of fun (and roomier than Huck's raft for sure). :) ~L

  3. I've been on different types of boats, but I've never been on a sailboat. I really would like to sail in one of those.

  4. Put me on an old fashion ocean liner like the Queen Mary or the Queen Elizabeth and I am good to go (I mean the origianl ships, not the new ones that are more like Carnival Cruise ships). Those were luxury personified.

    1. Alex- What perfect ships for you! I think it would be awesome to take a ride on those original ships. It would be fascinating to see all the people, too! :) ~L

  9. I'm not much for sailing (I found out the hard way in Key West!) but they had some really cute houseboats that looked inviting. :)
