It would take me through a secret path or portal to a magical place where their is a mansion and in that mansion is the GREATEST BOOK COLLECTION EVER! With some weird characters in them or even fictional characters around that I can hang out with... I sound a little bit crazy... :P
ReplyDeleteHi Adriana, Sounds amazing! Actually, your map reminds me a little of the Begonia House- lol! The next story is entitled The Talking Library- so, fear not the unexpected! ~ F
DeleteLove Adriana's answer!! I want to go where she's going lol
ReplyDeleteBesides that, though ... hmmm ... (Jess, why is it that you always make me put on my thinking cap? lol) ...
Okay, MY map would take me back in time to the Great Library of Alexandria, before idiots set it on fire and burned all those lovely ancient manuscripts to bits of charcoal!
Can you imagine the WEALTH of historical information that was lost to man FOREVER?! Oh, I would love to be able to spend a lifetime reading and pouring over all those ancient documents (with a magical translator, of course! hehe) ;D
Hi M.A.D, I love to inspire your thinking cap! How amazing would it be to check out the Great Library of Alexandria! Fabulous idea! Thanks so much for stopping by to share your thoughts with us : ) ~ Jess
DeleteAnother great Wants To Know post. I'd quite like my map back to the time of the first printing presses OR failing that to Narnia.
ReplyDeleteHi Petty, I am with you completely on visiting Narnia- how amazing would that be! Thanks for stopping by : ) ~ F
DeleteWhere, where, indeed ... perhaps to ancient China, where there were swordsmen and swordswomen. I'd like to know if they could really fly and defeat villains after skills meditation in a cave.
ReplyDeleteHi Claudine, I would love to meditate in a cave, once I got past the curiosity of actually being in a cave, that is- lol I still think I can fly- I just can't remember how to in real life. I soar about in my dreams just fine! Always lovely to hear from you : ) ~ F
DeleteMagical map.... I think I'd like to use that map to travel to the future - where everyone travels on jetpacks and there'd be a dystopian society of which I could be the hero and savior! I'd be the protagonist of my very own dystopian novel :D
ReplyDeleteAlso, it would possess the power to show and erase itself on command, like in Harry Potter!

Hi Ana, Sounds fascinating! Imagine everything that you could learn by traveling to the future. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us! ~ F
DeleteOh boy...this is where my unadventurous side kicks in...maybe to a cool beach and back again...any time...nothing far away or scary!
ReplyDeleteHi Patty, Nothing wrong with a fabulous beach to relax on! I wish myself there quite a bit : ) Thanks for stopping by! ~ F
DeleteI'd love a magic map to lead me to Pern or Middle Earth or the wilds of Africa or the Outback in Australia... so many great places to go!
ReplyDeleteHi Jemi, There are so many cool places to pick. Middle Earth would be fabulous, especially Rivendell. Great to hear from you! ~ F
DeleteI'd want a map that could change to show any place I wanted and then magically transport me there. Yes, I realize I'm asking for a lot. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, I think it sounds reasonable- lol! I would love to get my hands on your map and go! Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts with us : ) ~ F
DeleteOh, love this idea! I think rather than a place or time, I'd want it to show me where the people I love are at any given time so I could always find them.
ReplyDeleteHi Cate, Yes! So cool- just like the Marauder's Map : ) Lovely to hear from you! ~ F
DeleteI would like a map to the lost city of Atlantis! Or to Heaven. Ok, sounds kinda silly but it would be fun..
ReplyDeleteThe Week in Bookish News
Hi Books and Beyond, I am so glad you brought this us, because I am also completely fascinated by Atlantis and would love to have a map that could take me there. One of the best mysteries of mankind! Thanks for stopping by! Great to hear from you : ) ~ F
DeleteLove this question! Um...I'm going to have to go with Tolkien's Middle Earth. Dwarves, men of Rohan, hobbits, elves...yes please!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, Middle Earth is amazing- for me, it's Rivendell, and that bed in the movie that Frodo recovers on- how fabulously magical is that bedroom!?! LOL! Great to hear from you : ) ~ F
DeleteMy magic map would give me the opportunity to go back in time. I would love to see my mum and dad as children, teenagers and then grown up, before they had my brother, sister and I. They were already in their 40s when I came along – so I only knew them as grumpy parents! They look so carefree in their wedding photos - I would love to go to their wedding! Can you arrange it for me??
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, That would be amazing! I love looking at old pictures of my family. When I see pictures of my grandmother, it's so hard to imagine her as anything other than my warm, lovely grandmother- but she looks like a little firecracker when she was a teenager. Thanks so much for stopping by to share your thoughts with us! ~ F
DeleteTo the land of chocolate and adventure!
ReplyDeleteHi Libby, I love that you remembered to include the chocolate : ) Great to hear from you! ~ F
DeleteHi Heidi, Of course Hogwarts would be amazing- I would give anything for a map to take me to Hogsmeade so I could have a butter beer : ) Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts with us! ~ F
ReplyDeleteKatertot says: It would take me to Hogwarts and Camp Half-Blood. It would possess the power to give me Buffy powers.
ReplyDeleteMichele says: It would take me back to bed and give me the power to sleep for 8 hours without interruption. LOL!
Great questions and post, lovelies!
Katertot- I love your choices! Two awesome place and with Buffy's powers you would be golden. :)
DeleteMichele- I cracked up when I read your response! Very witty. :)
So glad you loved the question and post!

If I had a magical map, it would take me to Lands of Enchantment where I'd experience whatever fun my imagination thought of.
ReplyDeleteDonna- What a fabulous answer! That would be fun for sure. :) ~F
