Bringing the story to life...

What's more fun than bringing a book to life? That's just what fellow YA blogger, Dawn Zimmerer, has achieved. Dawn helped put together a Hunger Games program that was held at the Ridgefield Public Library Thursday April, 19th. A great time was had by all, and it was a privilege to be a part of the show. Playing the part of a Capitol official, I nonchalantly welcomed the tributes, as they marched forth on their journey to the games. I made sure to add a level of unease, asking each participant to tell me a little about themselves. The girl that I assigned to district 12 revealed to me that she radiated awesomeness... great answer. Thanks to Dawn from Flitlit for inviting me to partake in this fun event!

May the odds be ever in your favor!

  2. Thanks for the post!

To all who are reading these, I could NOT have done this without Jess! She gave of her time and considerable talents to help me create the atmosphere of the Capitol. She also kept my sanity in check...not an easy thing to do!

Check out my blog to see what I learned from doing this program.
