Excellent guessing, Riddlers! We'll be digging through history next week. Tune in Monday to find out how the answer ties into the story. See you around the book block. ~ F
Finding things is my jam—ancient pot or crumbling dam. Far and wide my eyes do seek for that which earth permits to leak. Digs in time mark the spots where I find these secret lots, and when I learn what they are, history will raise the bar.
What am I? Answer: Archaeologist!
Good one. Enjoy your weekend, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI guessed what they dug for but I was on the right track...
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this riddle?? Looking forward to what book you selected. Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteI would have guessed archeologist, but I'm a little late to the party, lol. Great pictures. Great artifacts.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week-end, and I'll look forward to your next post.

Hi DMS - your mention of jam jars - immediately reminded me of a stink of chutney that pervaded London, when excavations were being made for a new railway under London - and a chutney factory had been built over - leaving the remnants for the future excavators to come across! I expect archaeologists went in ... I did vaguely get the answer though ... all the best - Hilary
ReplyDeleteYay! I got it right!
