I knew exactly what book this was as soon as I saw the name Whatsit. I love A Wrinkle in Time and the sequel, A Wind in the Door, even better.
ReplyDeleteI'll go with Tamara but aside from wrinkle I have no clue
ReplyDeleteI didn't have a clue either.
ReplyDeleteAhh, A Wrinkle in Time, which I finally read for the first time a few years ago. Have a lovely week ladies.
ReplyDeleteAgain...I have no idea!
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest. No idea for this one.
ReplyDeleteI haven't go an idea either ... I do wish I wasn't so hopeless at these riddles! Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteStumped on this one too!

I am completely clueless but whatever it is it is bound to be good.
ReplyDeleteA wrinkle? Shortcut? strands together?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking wrinkle and discover from the comments I am probably right.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking wrinkle, it looks like everyone else is going that way xox
ReplyDeleteYes, my first thought was crease, but then thought of wrinkle, and of course A Wrinkle in Time. :)
ReplyDeleteA Wrinkle in Time! Such an AWESOME story!!
ReplyDeleteDuh, I was thinking A Wrinkle in Time with the "who, which, whatsit" and then promptly forgot when I read the rest. Wrinkle makes sense! Good riddle.

Another one I haven't a clue. I'm terrible at this game. Maybe I need some brain vitamins.
ReplyDeleteA Wrinkle in Time, a book I'd like to read again.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you two fine ladies have been eagerly waiting for my comment. Yay and you can stop your thumb-twiddling, for I have arrived.
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming a number of your commenters have come up with the answer. "Crease" is the word...there you go, you've got a song in your head to distract you...
Gary :)
I haven't read A Wrinkle in Time, so I have no idea, lol :D Was thinking a star, but that is probably way off, haha :) Lovely riddle, though. <3
ReplyDeleteI don't know! But others say A Wrinkle in Time. I read it as a kid, but don't remember much about it.
ReplyDeleteCould that be A Wrinkle in Time? Yes, yes it is. In fact, I knew after the first clue. Yay!
ReplyDeleteSounds like all other commenters what already said- A Wrinkle in Time?
ReplyDeleteExcellent guessing, Riddlers! The answer has been ironed out. ;) ~ F
