Hello, Riddlers! Can you guess our theme? The cycle spins so fast! ; ) ~ F
When I come round, colors dance to their end. I've a chill for your bones, plus a cold snap to lend. There's a harvest to reap by my sister's delight, but she'll vanish as soon as the last leaf takes flight. The tell on me's bitter, as one of the four; when I come knocking, you'll shut the door. A watch is set to anxiously wait, as _______ is coming, ordained by fate.
What am I referring to?(fill in the blank ;)
I gave you a clue!

Oooo, I'm first up. I'm going to say Winter.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Bish ‘one of the four’ must refer to seasons, and the picture clue suggests winter, although I suppose it could be autumn.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree that it's winter. I'll be shutting my door then and hibernating as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess the Winter... I wish I could hibernate when it shows up xox ♡
ReplyDeleteSnow
ReplyDeleteFrost?
ReplyDeleteI'm going with winter, too! Definitely something that's coming up too soon!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's got to be winter. Brrr.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is also winter. I'm probably in the minority but I do love winter.
ReplyDeleteWinter is soon coming
ReplyDeleteSounds like Winter. Love this line "when I come knocking, you'll shut the door." Much prettier to look at from the comfort of indoors. :)
ReplyDeleteWinter or perhaps Jack Frost?
ReplyDeleteHi Jess - Icy spells ... freezing bitter weather ... not so nice - but first thick mists and dank air ... I will shut the door if I get a chance - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteMy least favorite time of the year - winter.
ReplyDeleteWinter definitely ........ and it does come around far too quickly!
ReplyDeleteWinter. A time I love.
ReplyDeleteWinter, and I'm not ready for it. Like the cool but not cold weather better.
ReplyDeleteWinter! Had to scrape off my windshield the other morning, so it's coming!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking frost??
