Excellent guessing, Riddlers! This week, we're on fire. Some of you asked about the relationship of fire to mold- here is the connection; heat kills the spores. :) Lizzy's review will spark your imagination, and Friday we'll be chatting with Ashley Spires, author of the children's picture book The Most Magnificent Thing, so be sure to check back! See you all around the book block. ; ) ~ F
Excite the circles, and I'm there. Keep me safe, but beware. I'll lick and flicker as I rise, just like magic before your eyes. My power comes from a spark, and once I'm up it won't be dark. Bouncing faster, matters shift, charged by energy in their midst. I'm very useful when you're cold, and I'll strip a spot of all its mold. A definite hit when cooking food, and beautiful too, when you're in the mood. Kept in a hearth or harnessed in stone, once I'm lit, you'll feel at home.
What am I? Answer: Fire!
