Monday's Riddle: Secret Magic...

Hello Riddlers! It's that time again. Can you guess our theme this week? Margo and I were on this topic the other day. ;) ~ F

Anne of Brittany knew my mark- had me woven, then tied to bark. She held me captive after the hunt; the threads do tell of quite a stunt. Of course, they always want me near, I'm more exciting than a horse or deer. You see, I'm true magic after all, but only innocence can hear my call. With a lady waiting or a girl who's lost, I can reveal myself at no cost. But should there be a darker one, I'll rear up fierce, turn, and run. Known to be of mysterious measure, there are those who'd like to steal my treasure. The men that live whose thoughts are evil, cause in time their own upheaval. They never see the simple truth, light's enchanted by the youth. So, if it's harm you're fixing to do, keep in mind You Know Who.

What am I?

I gave you a clue!

  4. I remember a Magic Treehouse book (Winter something), there was a unicorn in a tapestry that came to life. I'm thinking it must be a unicorn, too.

  14. "There was green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
The loveliest of all was the unicorn."
