The Unicorn Tapestries |
Excellent guessing Riddlers! This week we're delving into the magic of the illusive unicorn. Lizzy's review will take us on a wild ride, and Friday there's something excellent up our sleeves, so be sure to check back! See you all around the book block. ; ) ~ F
Anne of Brittany knew my mark- had me woven, then tied to bark. She held me captive after the hunt; the threads do tell of quite a stunt. Of course, they always want me near, I'm more exciting than a horse or deer. You see, I'm true magic after all, but only innocence can hear my call. With a lady waiting or a girl who's lost, I can reveal myself at no cost. But should there be a darker one, I'll rear up fierce, turn, and run. Known to be of mysterious measure, there are those who'd like to steal my treasure. The men that live whose thoughts are evil, cause in time their own upheaval. They never see the simple truth, light's enchanted by the youth. So, if it's harm you're fixing to do, keep in mind You Know Who.
