Hello Riddlers! It's a beautiful day here in New England, and we're soaking in the sun! Here's the puzzle. Can you guess our theme this week? ~ F
A celebration's on its way! The sun's up high, ready to play. A time to grow, expand and bloom. The colors unite; the plants need room. Druids celebrate this time of season because the light brings rhyme and reason. Eggs standing on the table have been known to be a common fable. The longest day's yet to come, and most are in for outdoor fun. It's a fairer stitch in Nature's seam, as she sews the fabric of Summer's dream.
What am I referring to?
I gave you a clue!

ReplyDeleteNow how did Meradeth get here before me? I wanted to say summer solstice first!
ReplyDeleteThe longest day of the year? :D

ReplyDeleteWe just drove past the summer solstice signs at stonhenge!
ReplyDeleteI'll guess Summer Solstice, though I think it could be something similar I'm just not remembering.

ReplyDeleteI'm late, but I'm pretty sure you're referring to the Summer Solstice! =)
Glad I'm not too late, I'm also thinking the Summer Solstice.
ReplyDeleteThe summer solstice, it is indeed. Must now head down to Stonehenge and dance with the Druids. Or stay right here in Leek, England. The home of the double setting sun on the first day of summer. How about that!
ReplyDeleteGary :)
Summer? But you mentioned summer in the clue, so I'm not sure that would be it. Trying not to look at other answers before giving mine!
ReplyDeleteSummer solstice!
ReplyDeleteExcellent guessing Riddlers! The answer has been revealed. ;) ~F
