Monday's Riddle: Lovely Trickery...


Hello Riddlers! Here's the puzzle. Can you guess our theme this week? Disney forgets that they're actually quite harrowing. ; ) ~ F

Are you drifting out at sea? Listen to the wind, and you might hear me. My song is known as a haunting sign, luring you to shore in good time. I may play a game of cat and mouse should I wish you to visit my watery house. Once we're below the waves and the sun, you'll find the tides wash up all the fun. There's sea turtles and mollusks; rays and sharks. There's even little stars that like to leave marks. In my castle, you'll see the magic, forget yourself, and not feel tragic. Remember this advice should we meet, I'm just like you, though lacking feet. I covet your spirit, so don't hold your breath. I'll keep your mind mystified before certain death. 

 What am I?

    I was thinking of a siren but then read 'once we're below the waves' so I'm now thinking a mermaid.

    The siren song it has to, be calling you to wreck your self , whilst sailing on the sea

    No clue...Sirens are evil...I think...maybe it's a friendly dolphin? Lol!

    Mermaid! Are they the same thing as a Siren? I have no idea. Both are pretty creepy though :)

    I'm in the mermaid camp. I also thought siren at first, but now I think mermaid.
