Answer to Monday's Riddle: It's A Wrap!

Excellent guessing Riddlers! This week we'll be trying on an amazing coat. Lizzy's review will zip it up, and Friday, the Character Book Club will be gathering right here on Fairday's Blog, so be sure to check back. It's sure to be a great meeting! There's still time to enter the book giveaway for The Romeo and Juliet Code by Phoebe Stone. Stop by the post for your chance to win a signed hardcover of this excellent middle grade book. Over the weekend, we always love to hear from you on The DMS Wants to Know. See you all around the book block. ; ) ~ F

I'm something that you'll wear out. I work for them all, both tall and stout. A kind of shield when in need of protection; a shell to hide from nature's projection. I can be fancy or I can be dull, stitched in bright colors or gray as a gull. Sometimes I'm slick, but I can be heavy- it all depends on the fill of the levee. Should you feel that you've got a shiver, I'm the thing that will surly deliver. For, I'm something that's been around for forever, holding you close in all kinds of weather.
