Tee hee lovelies! That's it for us ; ) We've enjoyed gathering here for Fairy Week on Fairday's Blog! You were clever enough to figure out our tricky riddle and you passed by the Sphinx because you took our good advice. Thursday, the grumpy old gnome, Boer, told you a little about who we are are, and Friday, a banana peddling gypsy welcomed you into to our sort of market. It's been magical dearies, and we were happy to visit with you for a spell. Today, we are bursting to hear what you have to say!
The Fae wants to know:
Which of our fairy kin would you want to spend an afternoon with?
Well, I'm not sure to be honest.. But yeah. I think I would go with Tinkerbell :D She's just so cute.
ReplyDeleteHi Carina, She is so cute! Thanks so much for stopping by : ) ~ F
DeleteI agree with Carina, Tinkerbell would be most fun. Great illustrations as usual!
ReplyDeletePaul R. Hewlett
Wonderful illustrations! Sorry I missed fairy week. Hm, favorite fairy, eh? I loved Shakespeare's fairyland in A Midsummer Night's Dream, but I agree, it's best not to trust any fairy!
ReplyDeleteHi Paul and Cate, Thanks so much! Puck is a great choice! Hanging out with him would prove to be very interesting! Lovely to hear from you : ) ~ F
DeleteLovely artwork! Are fairies really trustworthy?
ReplyDeleteHehe...
Hi Nas, Thanks! Sometimes...tee hee ; ) ~ F
DeleteTinker belle...would be the safest!
ReplyDeleteHi Patty, she definitely would! Thanks for stopping by : ) ~ F
DeleteTinker bell is lovely it's true and Walter Disney and his crew made her memory shine through and through.
ReplyDeletebut for me if you wander down my garden track, which leads you to that special place, out the back,
the outback, you will soon see millions of blue bell growing beneath the trees,
For me this is the realm of the blue the bell Fairy, so lovely to see, and so is my chosen of the princess of the Faerie be lucky Agman
Hi Terence, I love the rhyme! Excellent job : ) That is so cool about the Bluebells- I would love to see them! ~ F
DeleteIt's Tinkerbell - she's adorable! I'm afraid I'm not so up on fairies that I'd know any other famous ones beside her (despite the fact I wrote an MG novel where the mc was a pixie named Zana! For some reason, agents wanted the mc to be human. *yawn* Where's the fun in that? ). So I'll pick to spend an afternoon with Tinkerbell. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Lexa, Zana sounds cool! Thanks for stopping by : ) ~ F
DeleteOooo, looks like I almost missed Fairy week altogether. Sounds like it was a lot of fun. I don't know much about fairies myself, but I do like Tinkerbell. =)
ReplyDeleteHi Ruth, Thanks so much for popping by to share your thoughts with us! ~ F
DeleteOh I think I'd quite like to spend some time with the fairies who took part in labyrinth, the 1986 film starring David Bowie.
ReplyDeleteHi Petty, Me too!!!
DeleteI'll admit, I think I'd be pretty scared to hang out with the Fey--Tinkerbell maybe as an exception--but who's to know what tricks they may play!?
ReplyDeleteHi Meradeth, They can be VERY mischievous- which is fun! Thanks so much for stopping by to share your thoughts with us : ) ~F
DeleteAsh from Iron Fey
ReplyDeleteHi Brandi, Cool! ~ F
DeleteMost of the fairies I've come across in books aren't to be trusted but I would hang out with Tinkerbell of course. But, it has to be the Tinkerbell from the new movies with all her friends... The Tinkerbell from Peter Pan has got a bit too much of a temper. I really want to watch those movies now...
ReplyDeleteHi Adriana, Tinkerbell is a big fan of yours- she let me know ; ) ~ F
DeleteHi Heidi, Thanks! Tink is always a blast! ~ F
ReplyDeleteI think spending an afternoon with any fairy would be fun.
ReplyDeleteDonna- Spending the afternoon with one of them would certainly be interesting! :) ~L
