The children's book, My Clearest Me by Gueh Yanting, Claudine had my thoughts spinning over the weekend. I loved hearing everyones guesses for Monday's Riddle because it was cryptic, but so simple. The other night, I was watching a show about who we are as humans and the collective story that has been taught to each and everyone of us, passed on by our predecessors. The show delved into the concept of evolution and the search to understand that magic spark that creates life. Recently, I was annoyed with someone at school. Seriously, the person was driving me up the wall. Then, I took a deep breath and looked at them again- really looked. I watched the brilliant, glimmering light that shifted and blinked in their eyes, and I realized that every person has their own idea of who they are, but underneath that- there is life, and that one thing connects us all. I choose the infinity symbol because of it represents the cycle of endlessness and balance. Whew! This one was pretty deep, but sometimes it's fun and somewhat relaxing to think about! ~ F
I am the light in the window of you. I am the bright in all that you do. Whatever it is that is timeless and told, whatever is green or whatever old. For, I am the one that completes the circle, whether it be pink, cerulean, magenta, or purple. The colors are there to use. The design is yours to choose. I am the magic spark that turns the page, the invisible entity that sets the stage.
What am I? Answer: Life
Infinity Symbol Meaning:
Unlimited extent of time, space, or quantity; eternity; boundlessness; immensity.

DeleteThis one was a challenging one, and I had fun studying each line! I love the example you've thrown into this post: it's difficult to see a person who's caused you frustration in another light, but if we just let everyone be the person they are/want to be, I suppose bits of those frustrations just dwindle into not-that-big-a-deals. Life connects us; Choices make us individuals.
ReplyDeleteHi Claudine- Tolerance, understanding, and forgiveness is truly the best way in dealing with situations like that- if you can just let go of the need to be right and set your own frustrations aside- sometimes, it can actually be quite entertaining, after all- the scene only really ever belongs to you anyway, so why see it in a negative light- it just doesn't do any good! Great comment- always fabulous to hear from you! ~ F
DeleteGreetings!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I missed 'Monday's Riddle', but I took the time to read through it today, and I appreciate the thought put into it. I look forward to the next riddle!
Truly,

DeleteThis is strange. I made a stab at this riddle, but now my comment isn't here. It must have been so bad that your blog spit it out! It seems to spot an inferior riddle guesser just like that!
ReplyDeleteHi Cleemckenzi- The blog has been rather naughty these days : ) It forced me to tell on it. Chuck from Google help came over and gave it a good scolding, hopefully setting everything straight - LOL! I love your guesses- keep them coming! ~ F
DeleteI don't think that was my guess....a great riddle!
ReplyDeleteLife. of course, well, I was along the right track.
