Monday's Riddle had us seeing double, and Lizzy's review of Double Identity by Margaret Peterson Haddix was twice the mystery. Thursday on Top of the Heap, we brought you a few look-alikes, and Friday, it was awesome to hear from Margaret Peterson Haddix! Today, we want to hear from you!
The DMS wants to know: Have you ever met your double?
We told you ours. Now, let's hear yours!
I did once...in a photo several friends called me about to see if I changed my name over 50 years ago. It was posted in the wedding announcement section of a city newspaper. I cut it out and still have it. I remember being stunned at the time at how much that bride looked like me, I could find no difference and still can't. I never had the nerve to look her up though. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Anna Maria, That is so cool! It would be fascinating to have a chat with her : ) ~ F
DeleteNot so far. But what if I came across 'me' as a superstar? Would be so cool!
ReplyDeleteHi Nas, That would be cool! Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts with us : ) ~ F
DeleteI haven't met her, but my friends say there's a twin in town. Sorry, Twin. Now we are both under suspicion of being who we aren't. Wonder if she writes?
ReplyDeleteHi clemckenziebooks, Lol- in the same town?! You have to try to check her out : ) ~ F
DeleteNo... I never have and I really want to!
ReplyDeleteHi Patty, It would be so bizarre to meet your double- I saw a picture of a girl in an advertisement once that looked a lot like me- it was weird! ~ F
DeleteNo but like Patty, I really wish I could. My sister met her friends double but said it was very disconcerting. She kept thinking this person should know more about her than she did! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, Lol- you would think! But, alas the brains are unique : ) ~ F
DeleteI've never met a double, but it would be such a surprise.
ReplyDeleteDonna- It would be wild to see them! ;) ~L
