The DMS Wants to Know: What Would You Do With More Time?

Monday's Riddle thrust us into the topic of time travel! It was such fun being a part of the Genre Favorites Blogfest hosted by Alex Cavanaugh, which was the inspiration to spend some time traveling back to books we have read and loved. We chose fantasy as our favorite genre, and Lizzy reviewed one of the best books we know, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling. A new Margo's Musings reminded us what it means to be real and loved.  Today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know: If you were given a time turner, like Hermione in The Prisoner of Azkaban, how would you use it? Is there something in your own life that you need more time for? Or is there an event you would like to change or witness?

We'll tell you ours, if you tell us yours!

  1. I would definitely slow down a bit during my university years. I can't say I really enjoyed it as I was supposed to, trying to study as much as possible and get it off my chest.

    1. Jay- I like that you would use it to slow down. Often we don't enjoy each moment as we should because we are trying to do too much. ~F

  3. There are far too many real life events I'd like to have witnessed so I'm opting for a fictional one instead - Arthur pulling the sword out of the stone. More than anything I'd love to be able to travel back in time to the early medieval period of my dreams.

(PS - I usually use google chrome and can't publish a comment on this post with it. I swapped to Internet Explorer to see if there was a difference and that worked!)

  4. If I had a time turner, I think I would have begun this whole adventure of writing and trying to get published a lot sooner. I would like to have begun in my 20s.

  6. I would definitely use it so I can have time to do homework but I don't really know how. I do my homework in the same space all the time! I'd figure out away but I know I'll end up being eve more tired all the time.

    1. Adriana- Good for you that you would use it to do homework. So like Hermione! I am sure you could find a way to get your homework in and maybe take a nap each day so that you wouldn't be so tired. :) ~Stephanie

  9. So many things to do - so little time in which to do them, I'd love a time turner in order to spend more time with loved ones and of course to spend with my nose in a book.
