Answer to Monday's Riddle: Babies All Around...

Excellent guessing, Riddlers! Friday, Lizzy's review will bring home the baby, so stay tuned! See you all around the book block. ; ) ~ F

The starting line in this place, here you'll find another face. An unknown you come to being, open eyes forever seeing. At this stage, you are new, there is nothing much to do. Eat, sleep, watch the scene, be a part of the living dream. Voices coo, vibrations sound, colors swim through sky and ground. Reflecting on this circle spin, here is where you've once been. Words had yet to take on meaning, the goal this time was finish weaning.

What are you? Answer: A baby!

Extra! Extra! The Begonia House in headlines!
Secrets revealed by the Ridgefield Press

Jessica Haight, left, with writing partner Stephanie Robinson

A supposedly haunted house owned by one of Ridgefield’s former police chiefs, John Haight, has become the basis for a middle school-level juvenile novel published by Random House.

“The Secret Files of Fairday Morrow,” about a detective girl who moves to the big, old spooky house with lots of local lore surrounding it, is currently available.

Jessica Haight, 42, of New Fairfield, who by day is the central registrar for the Enchanted Garden school of the arts for children in Ridgefield, co-authored the book with writing partner Stephanie Robinson, 41, of Naugatuck, using Google Documents Share based on her experiences as a child in her grandfather’s creaky old home...

In other news, Fairday's Drawing Contest entry date has been extended to June 17th. Set your imagination free!
