Excellent guessing, Riddlers! Recognizing repeating patterns gives you the freedom to keep them or let them go. It's one of the great powers of awareness, and though eternally fun to play with patterns, don't let them play with you. Remember, truth lies betwixt the lines. ;)
I am that which comes and goes, known too well from head to toes. Circular styles kept in pace, until recognition marks my place. Seen clearly for what I show, you are free to let me go.
What am I? Patterns
Stone Dream #3: Twilight Flower Garden
I blew that one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for revealing the answer :)
ReplyDeleteHave a happy new month of August.
All the best Jan
I don't participate in these things...I would have blown it. :) I wish you a wonderful month of August. Thank you so much for your visit and kind comment on my blog today. Warm greetings to you. :)
ReplyDeleteHi DMS - I certainly didn't think of patterns ... but fun to read about the answer; Fibonacci and flowers always bewitch me - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletePatterns. Nice riddle. That's an amazing amount of detail in your Twilight Flower Garden art! How long does it take you to create something like that?
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry, Thanks! The three components of the art happen in separate stages- in Twilight Flower Garden, the ink drawings took a few days each to complete, the session of Microscopic Art was spread over about a week of photographing & collecting the flowers & bits of nature, and then taking pictures of that collection under the microscope. Once the elements are ready, I create the soundscape mix in Garage Band, and then compile the art & photos into a video that flows with the music to create a certain essence and feel to the visual imagery. The paintings in the videos take a long time to complete- could be 4-6 months, so sometimes I use snippets of them in the media mix videos (as in Twilight Flower Garden, which features a few frames of a painting that I'm currently working on.) Thank you for your question and interest in my artwork!
DeletePretty pictures. My husband LOVES riddles. I try to love them but the only riddles I really want to figure out are the ones behind stories/people. Most days. Why does that person do what they do or say what they say?
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love riddles. And these colors are mesmerizing.
