Fairday's Riddle: Deep Roots...

Hello, Riddlers! Can you guess our theme? These are a few of my favorite things. :) ~ F

A canopy view from above; cooing song of brushy dove. Stick and move in subtle ways, branching out through sun and haze. Weeping willow, fir, oak, beech; who hears their secret silent speech? Shwooshing, pattering, tinkling words are carried on the wings of birds.

What am I referring to? Stop by Friday for the answer.

I gave you a clue!

  1. Oh dear - I was going to say bower ... but I guess not - looking at the fallen leaves ... I shall await and see cheers Hilary

  2. Falling leaves. Flying geese. Don't think it's whiskers on kittens though...

  3. I am thinking leaves too - and branches and trees. Which are some of my favourite things too.

  4. The only thing that comes to mind is rustling leaves. Have a lovely week.

  5. Go out on a limb and say leaves.

  6. I agree with leaves - autumn leaves in particular!

  7. It has to be those fall leaves skirting their way to the ground.

  8. Excellent guessing, Riddlers! The answer has been revealed. :) ~ F

  9. I purposely haven't yet looked at the revealed answer yet!
I am going to say leaves.

    All the best Jan

PS Right, just off to see the answer!
