Hello, Riddlers! Can you guess our theme this week? We're obviously huge fans of this. ; ) ~ F
This week holds suspense on the line; goodreads clues are a sign. Sleuthing in to cover the case, Nancy's flashlight will reveal the face. Sammy's keys may get you in, Harriet notes what happened. The master of this, Edward Gorey, draws it into every story.
What am I referring to? Stop by Wednesday for the answer!
I gave you a clue!
Mystery sleuths?
ReplyDeleteI haven't a clue with so many clues. Get my clue? Clue in right at my zoo?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing mystery sleuths too but I'm not very confident.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with sleuth, but uncertain.
ReplyDeleteI like Edward Gorey’s illustrations so that’s a good start but not sure about today’s riddle. Excitement, adventure, mystery?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, good one - a sleuth? Hugs Valerie
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at that eye and thinking detective.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be pertaining to a specific book (which it always is) but I recognize it but can't recall the name. They are teen detectives
ReplyDeleteUm, I really don't have a good guess this week. Looking forward to the answer!
ReplyDeleteMysteries in general? Sounds like you're referring to Nancy Drew, Sammy Keyes, and Harriet the Spy.
ReplyDeleteMysteries? Colour me clueless.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, we have had so much fun looking up Edward Gorey, whom we did not know until this post, and finding out that he loved Buffy and Batman and was not very fond of children -- hilarious and a kindred soul! We're going to guess sleuths, detectives, and perhaps mystery stories. You've stumped us -- but we have had great fun with this post :)

ReplyDeleteSou sempre péssima pra adivinhar os temas! hehehe! Vou aguardar pela resposta certa!
Ótima segunda!
Beijo! ^^
Hi DMS - my brain has gone into hibernation after the A-Z ... but I'll be interested to see the answer ... must be sleuthing of some sort ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it was Nancy Drew because it is her 80th anniversary, but then there's the reference to Sammy Keyes and Harriet the Spy. So I looked closely at the clue and saw that it was an eye apparently spying through a keyhole. So my guess is spying on someone.
ReplyDeleteMysterious music? I noticed the references to Nancy and Harriet, obviously, but I also saw keys and notes, so I'm thinking mysteries and music.
ReplyDeleteMystery Week?
ReplyDeleteReally I dont know but sounds absolutely mysterious !!!
ReplyDeletedefinitely not my biography, for sure
ReplyDeletePerhaps macabre illustrations?
ReplyDeleteVery mysterious… I can only think of mystery, but that can't be right...
ReplyDeleteMystery Week? Is that thing? All I know is it has to do with mystery...of some kind. haha
ReplyDeleteExcellent guessing, Riddlers! The answer is no longer a mystery. ;) ~ F
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I was late coming to this and came to comment and saw your answer!!!
