On the 6AM train to NYC, a surly gentleman sitting in front of us commented to the lady next to him that the woman behind him hadn't stopped talking since he got on the train- referring to Stephanie. Every other seat was empty, but for a few. He sat right next to us. We both laughed and kept hoping that we 'd get the chance to wish him a nice day!
We were so excited to bump into our friend, Kelly Hashway. She's one of our featured authors, and it was fun to have the opportunity to meet her in person!
Here's a sneak peek at a few of the books we picked up. We can't wait to check them out. Our TBR lists just got bigger. Again. lol. :)
A great time was had by all, and we can't wait for this excellent event next year! Stop by on Friday to find out all about our fancy lunch with literary agent, Rachael Dugas and editor, Krista Vitola.
How fun! Books and more books and the people who write them and love them all in one place. All-around awesome.
ReplyDeleteBarbara- It was an amazing experience! Loved seeing books and book people everywhere. :) ~Stephanie
DeleteDean Koontz writes kids books now? That is definitely the best thing about BEA--meeting fellow authors. All the stories I heard about the crowds makes me a little claustrophobic, though!
ReplyDeleteStephanie- It was great to meet fellow authors and to see all the buzz about books. The crowds are a little overwhelming, but there are also places to get away from the crowds for a bit. :) ~Stephanie
