Monday's Riddle gave us some time, and Lizzy's review of Running Out of Time by Margaret Peterson Haddix showed us what it's like not to have enough. Friday the Character Book Club gathered once more, and it was fun to find out what Tomato and Pea had to say to Taylor Davis. Today, we want to hear from you!
The DMS wants to know:
If you could stop time, what would you want to do for as long as you wish?

Ohh, creepy picture. I like it :D
ReplyDeleteHi Carina, Thanks! Lovely to hear from you. : ) ~ F
DeleteI'd read and write.
ReplyDeleteHi Medeia, Wonderful idea! Thanks for stopping by :) ~ F
DeleteOh there are so many things. Aging would be a big one. But more constructively, learn the piano, like Bill Murray on Groundhog Day :-)
ReplyDeleteHi John, I loved that movie! Playing the piano would be a cool activity to learn. Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts with us. : ) ~ F
DeleteI think the obvious answer is reading so I have to say that because really what else would you do with all that time. I've always thought also to be able if I ever left my homework at home to walk home and bring it back to school. Oh I would complete so many tasks if I could stop time! It's always been my go to power when asked what superpower I would have.
ReplyDeleteHi Adriana, And imagine, in reality, time is just something humans made up. If you were to ask a butterfly what time it is, they would give you an odd look and tell you, "Why, it's now, of course." :) Thanks for stopping by! Lovely to hear from you as always! ~ F
DeleteHi kimbacaffeinate, This idea of reading always reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode where the man is finally left alone with all the books he could ever read and no time or other people to worry about, and then he breaks his glasses- yikes! Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts with us. :) ~ F
DeleteI would read and read. I have been searching for such a device forever!
ReplyDeleteKimba- I have been searching for it too! If you find it let me know and I will do the same. :) ~L
DeleteOh, definitely read. I know I would get bored eventually, but I would read and read until my eyes refused to acknowledge words anymore. Then I would probably craft until all the craft supplies in my house were done. Rinse, repeat.
ReplyDeleteEmily- Wouldn't it be awesome to catch up on some reading. I could finally make a big dent in my TBR list- and uninterrupted. Dreamy! The crafts sound fun too! :) ~L
DeleteI wouldn't be able to decide what I wanted since I have so many projects going at one time.
ReplyDeleteDonna- Imagine how much you could get done! :) ~L
