The DMS Wants to Know!

Yesterday I had the weirdest experience. For the entire day, everywhere I looked, I saw lime green. It's like the color caught my attention and wouldn't let it go. Waiting in line at a store, I noticed the first spot of color. A lady with a bright lime green purse was standing in front of me. The very next thing I looked at was the exact same green (It was a poster hanging on the wall behind the register). Then, as I turned to leave, a guy with a lime green shirt brushed by me. And this was just the beginning of it. Seriously, I saw the same color for hours on end. I realized that just noticing the color throughout the day made me think of lime green and how it makes me feel. Turns out, I think it's a really fun color. I feel lively, but relaxed. Cool and breezy, spirited and minty. I thought about spring, and different shades of green. My brain actually whirled away on these thoughts for a while, and so did Lizzy's.  We had such a fun conversation about colors! We'd love to hear what you guys think!

    LOL Marcus! Yes, he's cool isn't he? Found him on a cucumber plant in my mom's garden last year- I have no idea what he is and I sort of don't want to find out, I like to keep things a little mysterious : ) ~ F

    I had to delete...the bird got in my way and I could not see what I was spelling!!!

    I love red!!!

    Just think about it...it's strawberries, pasta sauce, pizza and watermelon...I could live on those things...lol...

    I have to agree. Green is my favorite color, though I tend to favor the shade that is more similar to the green of grass and leaves. Spring is my favorite season, the whole cycle of rebirth and renewal.

    I have been into pink for 2 years now, and lime green! I like the contrast of the 2 colors together.

    I'm into blues, whites, and reds lately. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the calmness the greens offer.

    The bright, leafy green always calms me down and brings on a hopeful smile. I love a good sea's blue. That one makes me smile, too, though in a melancholy way. But hey, I like melancholia.

    Lemon yellow reminds me of Childhood.

    There are so many amazing colors. When people ask me I always say blue- but I really love pruple. It is so bright and cheery. I love to write in purple pen and wear purple. It makes me feel happy! So many colors make me feel different ways. :)
