Monday's Riddle helped set our goals this week, and Lizzy's review of Walking to the Bus Rider Blues by Harriette Gillem Robinet was a lesson learned in time. Margo will be chiming in on Friday, and Saturday, we can't wait to hear from you on The DMS Wants to Know.
Setting goals for yourself can be very liberating! It's important to remember to pay attention to what you are doing in the moment, but it's always good to have a plan. And, having goals to achieve those things that you enjoy can be quite a fun ride. We thought we would tell you about two of our long term goals- the ones that we love to think about and imagine : )
This week's top of the heap: Best Life Goals
Fairday: Ah, to have a horse. Seriously, that's my goal. I have been on this for as long as I can remember. I have tortured my parents about it every Christmas and Birthday. When is that little paint pony going to appear in my backyard??? When, I ask you??? Now that I've gotten that out- I do have a goal to own a horse someday. I always take note when I learn something new about them or I see an opportunity to bring them closer into my world. ~ F
Lizzy: Easy for me- I have set a goal to travel and visit as many places as possible. I love traveling and learning about new cultures. I have been cross county twice, and each adventure was amazing! So, this goal may take me a lifetime to achieve, but that 's just fine with me! ~ L
Jaja! A horse. That's actually a pretty good goal. I would love to ride a horse one day maybe when the sun is rising over a hill. That would be nice.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to go on planes so I don't know about traveling all over the world. One day I hope to get over that fear.
Hi Adriana, What can I say? It really is one of the top goals for my life! We wish you the best of success conquering your flying fears : ) ~ F
DeleteAw, great goals :D I have never cared much for horses.. but I do understand why people love them :) Goodluck ;) My life goal is to get a cat. Which I might be getting in April. A beautiful white chincilla persian. <3 sigh. And ohh. I do love to travel :D You both have great goals. Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteHi Carina, Thanks! Good luck with the kitty- they are the best, very zen ✌ Thanks so much for stopping by : ) ~ F
DeleteGreat goals! Who wouldn't want a horse? I worked on a horse farm one summer, I didn't do too well, but I loved the horses :) I love to travel too. There are so many places I want to see, it might take me two lifetimes. Good luck to both of you! I will be cheering you on in hopes the you both achieve your goals.

Hi Lionel, Thanks! Right? Good luck to you too : ) ~ F
DeleteI traveled a lot as a kid. I need to get back into that. Thanks for the reminder, Lizzy.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, Traveling is so much fun, getting to see new things and different scenes- very cool! Thanks for stopping by : ) ~ F
DeleteAw good luck to you both! I love to travel too Lizzy :) You just never know what will happen even if it's a trip you've already experience. I love that!
ReplyDeleteHorses make me a little nervous but I wish you well on that Fairday :) I'd love to have a cow some day but I don't think my current herd would be too into that idea. LOL
Hi Herding Cats, Fear not the unexpected! Thanks : ) I'm not sure a herd of cats would be okay with cows- lol! Thanks for stopping by ~ F
DeleteBoth are fun goals and easily doable, providing you have the money needed. Goals help us move forward everyday of our lives, and these goals are so attainable.
ReplyDeleteDonna- There are so many types of goals. I agree with you that these are attainable. Money certainly helps! :) ~L
