The DMS Wants to Know!

Monday's Riddle kicked off the week, shouting out to all the great story villains we love to hate - After all without them, there would be no adventure! We spotlighted the White Witch for the Fairy Tale Book Giveaway Hop, reviewed the new middle grade novel, Breadcrumbs by Anne Ursu, and on Top of the Heap we shared our favorite masters of mayhem with you. Today, we want to hear from you! ~ F

The DMS wants to know:

We told you ours, now let's hear yours!

My favourite faerie tale villain changes all the time! At the moment, because of a future post I'm drafting, I have a new appreciation for the sea witch in The Little Mermaid. But one constant over the years has been Rumpelstiltskin. =)

    1. I completely forgot about Ursula, isn't that her name? Great choice! ~ F

Well, Disney named her Ursula, but I prefer the nameless "sea witch" in Hans Christian Anderson's original, because I grew up with her. =)

  2. we had this conversation on a long car ride...I was interested in the kids views...seemed Scar was the worst villain they agreed on.

  3. Can I pick the beast from Beauty and the Beast because in the beginning he was kind of a villian.....? If not, I'll go with the Big Bad Wolf from The Little Red Riding Hood. I think he was one seriously misunderstood wolf!

  4. Hook from Peter Pan scared the life out of me when I was little – so it has to be him.

  5. I never thought about it before but it probably has to be the Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood. I love wolves because of it and Sisters Grimm made me love him even more. (:

  7. My favourite fairytale villain (these days) is The Snow Queen. But those who terrorized me in childhood were Snow White's step-mother, and Captain Hook.

    1. Claudine- Great answers! :) I was scared by the evil step-mother and Captain Hook. I always worried he could catch me and she just seemed so evil! ~F

  8. But I don't like villains! I guess if I had to pick one, it would be Captain Hook.
