The DMS Wants to Know!

Monday's Riddle was a cold smack in the face, and Lizzy's review of Breathing Room by Marsha Hayles took us on a chilly journey into the freezing Minnesota air with a young girl named Evvy. Thursday, on Top of the Heap we told you about our favorite winter wonderlands, and Friday was fabulous with Margo's pick of The Boy Who Cried Fabulous by Leslea Newman. Sunday, we have an exciting announcement for some holiday fun, and today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know: If you could take a trip to a magical winter wonderland, where would it be?

We told you ours. Now, tell us yours!

  1. Oops - I gave the game away earlier in the week when I said my favourite winter wonderland was Narnia. I also think though that I would love to go to Hogwarts in winter - it always looked so magical!

  3. Heidi likes peppermint lattes like I do too. I adore them! Peppermint Mocha Lattes :)
My wonderland is a place w/pristine, virgin white, crystal snow, not too cold but cold enough, all the trees are Christmas pine trees tipped in snow, fresh holly everywhere, my house is a nice kinda large-ish cottage with a roaring fireplace, comfy fall asleep in furniture, lotsa books, soft christmas/holiday music playing, a glass (or three) of wine, yummy snacks and fresh baked holiday goodies, my 2 dogs and cats by the fireplace snoozing happily, wearing a comfy cashmere "sweat suit" with comfy UGG slippers, christmas lights twinkling on the tree inside thats real and everything smells like pine, fireplace wood, and fresh baked goodies, no one else there but me cuz I need serious peace and quiet. Everyone can come over tomorrow for dinner..maybe..lolz..
I'll have a cross country ski trail going through my property and cool ppl ski through and I offer hot cocoa w/shots of kahlua or regular for the kiddies.

I know its not from a book but its my dream setting :)

    This was a fun post!

  6. This is purely easy! Either Aspen, Colorado or Camden, Maine. I want to be in a cozy condo with a fireplace and great view! Lots of walking outside to get coffees and go to dinners! No cars...just boots and gloves and hats and jackets...ice skating should be a part of this, too!

  7. I would like to go back and see the Swiss Alps just one more time and let them take my breath away again. No place on earth ever made me so sure there must be a God to have created such fabulous beauty.
