Monday's Riddle! To Oggle a God...


Hello Riddlers! Here's the puzzle. Can you guess our theme this week? I just adore these little loves. ; ) ~ F

 I should be worshiped, and kept very well. For, I'm something special, this you can tell. You'll oggle at me, because I'm so cute. I'll stare back, and not give a hoot. I sit in the corner and watch the wall, or trip you up on your way down the hall. You see, I'm very clever, and I'm known to be sly- I've a sixth sense and a keen, ready eye. Those who meet me should always beware, as most of the time I really don't care. 

 What am I?

    Some kind of an animal? I was thinking an owl but then there are the words not give a hoot soooo what about a cat?

    Absolutely no idea...I have no clue what the green thing is either...it looks like a jump rope!

    Humph! I don't know. Could it be a cat? They are certainly cute & they trip you up, and maybe the green thing could be a cat toy.

    I'm stumped, but a cat does seem the closest fit. Though they only pretend not to care, I think ;)

    I thought it was a cat, but the twistie-tie hint doesn't seem to go with that at all. Hmm...

    At first, I thought you were talking about the diva dog that is Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar. She reckons it's a cat.

    My cat is constantly lying in wait for me on the stairs. I would have guessed this in a heartbeat.
