The DMS Wants to Know!



Monday's Riddle swooped down from out of nowhere, sparking a comic book frenzy this week! Lizzy set the scene of the crime with her review of Poweless by Matthew Cody, and we had fun telling you about some super heroes that we love to watch save the day on Top of the Heap. Friday, it was exciting to learn a little more about V.L. Burgess, author of the swashbuckling, new middle grade novel, The Mapmaker's Sons. Today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know: If you could turn into a superhero for a day, who would you choose?

    Definitely Superman - mainly because I'm *old-skool* lol
    Plus, I'd be able to spin the planet to get tomorrow's lottery numbers, then spin the planet back to play 'em. Would have to *casually* collect my winningS as Clark Kent hehe ;D

    I only realised now how few girls there are - and when they do crop up they are often the baddies! I guess I'd choose yo be the Mom from the Incredibles. Bit of normality on the side but can do the biz when it matters!

    I would have to choose Superman, too, after all, he was my first favorite Superhero...still I wouldn't mind driving around in the Batmobile.

    I love that question! I absolutely ADORE Superman and Spiderman. Superman is, like most of the other readers here, my first super hero and will always hold a special place andSpider man is so cool! I'd love to be Superman. I'd love to help save people and turn back time. ;)

      Hi Sarika, Spiderman is such an interesting character- and what amazing powers to have if you think about it- I mean flying is fabulous, but weaving your way through a city by shooting webs out from your hands, now that's amazing!     Batman, of course! Or Wolverine. But most likely Batman. Michael Keaton's Batman though.
    Ah, and after that day being Batman, I want to be Bruce Wayne for the rest of my life!
