Excellent guessing, Riddlers. Friday, Margo has picked a story that will creep up on us, so stay tuned! See you all around the book block. ; ) ~ F
Creeping legs on sticky strings vibrate to buzzing things. Lurking over a crack in the wall, when they drop you won't hear them fall. More eyes than two watch what's spun; if you're not afraid, they're loads of fun. It's true they can be scary, but arachnids are cute, even hairy!
What am I referring to? Answer: Spiders!

A win for our bin
ReplyDeleteSpiders eat other bugs. I approve!
ReplyDeleteI scooped a spider up in a bowl the other day and set it outside. A granddaddy long legs.I prefer them outdoors rather than in the house.
ReplyDeleteSpiders ... Yikes! I got it right but I still don't like them. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of spiders, either. I allow a couple to live outside on my balcony, they have 'asylum' in return for getting rid of flies and mosquitoes, but they get splatted if they come inside! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHi DMS - I sure hope you have lots of beta readers ... I think the story would be fun to read. Spiders are mighty clever critters ... I'd rather they were out than in ... but I don't want to become Miss Haversham ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteOh, nice. I think I missed it though.
ReplyDeleteI probably would have gotten this riddle. :) Spiders are useful to kill creepy bugs, but they are rather creepy themselves too.
ReplyDeleteYes!
ReplyDeleteI did get it right!
All the best Jan
