In all the years I've watched this story, I never thought about Rudolph being bullied. But he was. Back in those days I don't recall hearing the word "bully." It might have been and I just didn't pay attention. Rudolph's story is a great example of bullying. To all the kids and adults that have been ridiculed and made fun of, I hope for peace and love.

DeleteMy son watched it last week, and really liked it. Though the talking snowman at the beginning weirded him out a bit, lol!

DeleteIts such a classic, isn't it? But so true, Rudolph is bullied. Great lesson though on perseverance and how he eventually came home and saved Christmas :)

DeleteI think the story of the reindeer is perfect to teach little children something about bullying while still keeping with the festive theme! I have never seen a movie which focuses solely on Rudolph's story though, if you can believe that! I'm always looking for more Christmas movies and the majority of the ones I watch are always kids ones (their the best for this season) so I will check this out ^.^

DeleteWatching Christmas classics like this one is an invaluable family tradition in our home as well :) My children's favorite is Frosty The Snowman :)

DeleteThe kids watch this in school each year, I think. I remember watching all these sorts of movies as a kid, but we rarely do these days. We'll be watching Home Alone tomorrow after we drive around to look at Christmas lights, though!

DeleteIt's been a while since we've watched it. Our daughter was a big fan when she was younger. I think Charlie Brown Christmas is her favorite, though.
