Monday's Riddle: A Common Pass...


Hello Riddlers! Can you guess our theme this week? The DMS is always excited to uncover a new one of these. ; ) ~ F

 Bound by my common tether, places can stick together. Should you seek a way to pass, I may be in a near crevasse. I'm designed to keep you on track; a guide to help you find your way back. Sometimes I'm dark, but I can be lit- you'll be alright if you salvage your wit. I can be found in the scope of the mold. I'm a way to get through despite what you're told. 

 What am I?

    I needed a map to get here and my sat-nav system isn't working too well. Where am I? I cannot see through all this snow!

    I am not sure - was thinking about a passage of some sort. Then a reflection came to mind when I saw the picture, but who knows! I need to brush up on my riddle skills. :)

    Well, your drawing, the clue seems to show a mirror. But I'm not sure how that relates to the riddle. So I'm stuck.
