Margo's Musings: Don't Miss the Train!

"Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see." ~ The Conductor from The Polar Express

With a sneaking suspicion and a brave heart, a young boy grabs a ticket and climbs aboard a mysterious train one wintery Christmas Eve. He takes his seat in anticipation, prepared for anything. He's ready to find out the answer to the question that's been burning in his mind; is Santa for real? The train rattles through the cold night air, stopping to pick up those in need of the Christmas spirit. The boy finds himself on an adventure that both scares and exhilarates him. His journey takes him all the way to the center of the North Pole, where he lends a helping hand to the magic and learns what it means to believe.

The Polar Express is one of my family's favorite holiday stories. Margo can barely contain herself when the hot chocolate is flamboyantly served on the train, and she's convinced that our Christmas elf, Noodles, loves to boogie! ~ F

  15. Watched the animation and loved it. Chris Van Allsburg is one of my favourite artists! I have received many good, endearing gifts and one is a pen from my folks more than a decade ago. My sisters and I all got one and I believe we all still have it. Have a fun giveaway!

  16. My best gift was Christmas last year when I'd been cancer free 7 months. My other best gift is Jesus and my family, actually they're even better than being cancer free. I love this movie and the book I'm sure would be a wonderful addition to my book collection. Thank you for the chance & Merry Christmas :)
