The DMS Wants to Know!

Monday's Riddle was a sweet treat, and Lizzy's review of Gingersnap by Patricia Reilly Giff took us into a unique bakery. Thursday on Top of the Heap, we told you about two tantalizing bites we'd like to try, and Friday, the Character Book Club met over at our friend Beverly's blog. Today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know:
What is your favorite treat from the bakery?

We told you ours. Now, let's hear yours!

  1. Umm, pretty much anything! :) But, seeing as how I've said this way too many times this week and still haven't gotten one--a bear claw :)

  2. Like Meradeth, I'm not picky :-)

But I really like chocolate eclairs, and chocolate covered donuts with cream inside. I'm hungry now...

  9. Why do you want to make me hungry!? That doughnut is enticing. I've never seen one that looks exactly like the one Homer eats. I have a thing now for red velvet cake - I don't care if it's a small slice from a bakery or a huge cake from Costco. It is heaven... I also love cheese pastelitos - YUM!

I'm happy with nearly any type of bread as long as I have something good to spread on it. =) I recently read about someone using coconut oil instead of butter on her breakfast toast, and I'd like to try that, too!

  13. Growing up, my parents would take me to the bakery and I always got an elephant ear. I think they may have another name but they are shaped like elephant ears and they are light and fluffy pastry with a light coating of sugar on top. So yummy.
