The DMS Wants to Know!

The NeverEnding Story
Monday's Riddle led us into the realm of magical creatures this week, and Lizzy's review of The Black Shard by Victoria Simxox told us about Krisitna and her journey back into the mystical land of Bernovem. Stop by the post to enter for your chance to win an e-book copy of this fun adventure! Giveaway runs until January 23rd. The Drawing Contest is happening all month long, so if you are feeling inspired, pick up a pencil and send us a drawing of a scene from The Secret DMS Files of Fairday Morrow by J. Haight & S. Robinson and enter for your chance to win a fabulous book prize pack! Contest ends February 3rd. Thursday, we told you about two of our favorite fantastical animals on Top of the Heap, and Friday, we were excited to learn a little more about Peg Kehret and her intriguing story Saving Lilly. Today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know:

  1. Although I love dragons, I wouldn't mind having a phoenix as a pet. I always wanted a bird, and phoenixes are awesome and not quite as deadly as dragons. :)

  7. I'm going with my griffin. There's a story called, "There's a Griffin in My Garden" that all of my kids loved and I read it to them until we all knew the story line for line. Then when I created a garden, I had to put a griffin in it. Turns out that was wise. That garden has yielded tons of flowers and vegetables. It's also yielded hours of joy.

    Yep. Griffin is my choice for a magical pet.

  8. A dragon. It can fly, breath fire, and be something like an emormous gaurd dog. What could go wrong? (-;
