It's completely dark, and then suddenly it's not. Awareness arises, and thought stirs the lot. Either coming to scare and give you a fright, or sending you sailing into a smooth, lovely night. This place, they say, could never be real. But, when the images shift your mind will reveal; what it is that's inside? or outside? or nowhere? It all depends on the scene that you sew there. For, in your depth is where I dwell, bubbling up fully like the chime of a bell. Your eyes will close, and you will slumber. Forever I'm there to take you asunder. These pieces of you are all that I show- but in the wake of your life, I'm just what you know.
What am I?
I already gave you a clue!
Sounds like dreams to me.
ReplyDeleteDreams!
ReplyDeleteThis one is more tricky than the last couple of weeks but I also think it is a dream - a nightmare if a bad one or sweet dreams if happy. Reality distorted while we sleep!
ReplyDeleteThe images often throw me, but I'm going to jump in line: Dreams. :-D
ReplyDeleteSleepy dreams, or daydreams. I wish mine were as lyrical as your description.
ReplyDeleteOoooo! Creepy and cool! I guess dreams or nightmares. Awesome riddle! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess you're a dream.
ReplyDeleteI'd guess a dream. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is probably dreams, but could almost pass for one's subconscious.
ReplyDeleteA memory?
ReplyDeleteHmm...sounds like the land of dreams to me. Could be wrong, but maybe...not? ^_^
ReplyDeleteTotally...for certain...it's dreamland!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand others saying dreams. It sounds and looks like drowning, under the sea, or monsters under the sea.
