Top of the Heap!

Sometimes it is just so fun to scare yourself silly. Closed for the Season by Mary Downing Hahn is a story that definitely has shock value. The suspense and anticipation keep you coming back for more. Like a lightning bolt- the unpredictable element of surprise is fantastic. I love it when something pops out and scares the living daylights out of me. As long as it's accompanied by a little comic relief, there's no reason not to embrace these wonderful tales of terror. Lizzy and I are in agreement on this one. So much so, that we are combining our thoughts on it.

This weeks top of the heap... stories with shock value : )

No matter whether we are at a sleepover or hanging out with friends, we both love to turn off the lights, get cozy into our sleeping bags, dig into the popcorn, and wait for Watcher in the Woods to begin. Honestly, this movie is just so scary, it's hard to believe that it's Disney! The old, spooky house, the woods that seem haunted, strange occurrences, and supernatural forces inspire goose bumps every time. This is seriously the creepiest movie ever!

When Mrs. Aylwood is stirring the water that Jan has fallen into, we both have to cover our eyes, even though we know what's going to happen. Any movie that can scare you over and over again has to be our pick for the most shockingly, terrifying movie of all time. For anyone that likes a good fright- check out Watcher in the Woods! Betty Davis will send shivers down your spine in this freaky flick. ~ F & L
