ReplyDeleteMy favourite faerie tale villain changes all the time! At the moment, because of a future post I'm drafting, I have a new appreciation for the sea witch in The Little Mermaid. But one constant over the years has been Rumpelstiltskin. =)
I completely forgot about Ursula, isn't that her name? Great choice! ~ F

DeleteWell, Disney named her Ursula, but I prefer the nameless "sea witch" in Hans Christian Anderson's original, because I grew up with her. =)
we had this conversation on a long car ride...I was interested in the kids views...seemed Scar was the worst villain they agreed on.
ReplyDeleteAnd again, I also forgot about Scar! He's a fabulous villain! The Lion King is one of my favorite movies : ) ~ F
DeleteCan I pick the beast from Beauty and the Beast because in the beginning he was kind of a villian.....? If not, I'll go with the Big Bad Wolf from The Little Red Riding Hood. I think he was one seriously misunderstood wolf!

Hi Megan,
DeleteThe Big, Bad Wolf was definitely misunderstood! Thanks for stopping by : ) ~ F
Hook from Peter Pan scared the life out of me when I was little – so it has to be him.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, Hook is a great villain! ~ F
DeleteI never thought about it before but it probably has to be the Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood. I love wolves because of it and Sisters Grimm made me love him even more. (:
ReplyDeleteHi Adriana, The Sisters Grimm is a great story- we recently reviewed this book. Thanks for stopping by : ) ~ F
DeleteOh my goodness! Right now the villain that I most love to hate is Rumpelstiltskin on Grimm!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL, Patty- I thought about him for my Top of the Heap- he is such a sneaky, little villain : ) ~ F
DeleteMy favourite fairytale villain (these days) is The Snow Queen. But those who terrorized me in childhood were Snow White's step-mother, and Captain Hook.
ReplyDeleteClaudine- Great answers! :) I was scared by the evil step-mother and Captain Hook. I always worried he could catch me and she just seemed so evil! ~F
DeleteBut I don't like villains! I guess if I had to pick one, it would be Captain Hook.
ReplyDeleteDonna- You are so funny! Captain Hook is a good choice. :) ~F
