Monday's Riddle! Pillars of Strength

Hello Riddlers! Sometimes, I'm amazed at how much of this my little sister, Margo, has ; ) Can you guess the theme this week? ~ F

If you're frightened, there's no need to worry- this strength keeps you away from the scurry. A feeling conjured from the inside that helps you to stand when your wish is to hide. Just like gold, this quality name- though only awarded when the gallant are game.  A boldness sought when things do get rough- one that makes you strong and tough.  Fear is a rag doll covered in moths; nothing but flutters, buttons, and cloth. Praise for those who see it this way- for, they whistle and smile and live for the day. 

 What am I referring to? 

I gave you a clue!

    I think those above got it right...courage...but I was thinking bravery before I read the other answers. Not certain if those two words mean exactly the same thing. :D

    I think Anna and I were totally on the same line of thinking. Hmm, I'm going to have to go look up bravery and courage--I'm wondering if there is a difference in their definitions? :)

    Excellent guessing Riddlers- I looked it up- originally, I was going for bravery, but courage and bravery are interchangeable, so you are all correct!!! Fabulous job all ; ) ~ F

    I'm late! I'm late! can't you see this, riddle was very hard for me. If I was to move some words around a new meaning I have found,could it be true that "Love" is what I'm eluding too. great site be well Agman.
