Best of 2016: Part 2!

It's been a marvelous year sharing stories with you. Here's our top picks for 2016, part 2!

I first heard about The War That Saved My Life on The Children’s War blog. I am so happy I had a chance to read it. The characters in the book really come to life...

I have wanted to read The Eighth Day by Dianne K. Salerni since I first heard about it. Maybe it's because I've thought a lot about having an extra day in the week. That would be excellent! I could get so much done on that day and even catch up on sleep!

  5. More reminders of so many great books. It's hard to decide which ones to read, since it's impossible for me, a slow reader, to read them all. :)

    1. Beverly- Audio books can be great too. I also listened to The War That Saved my Life and it is excellent. So- if you are working on something at home or driving in the car you could listen and get two things done at once. :)

  16. Thanks for re-sharing these, I always read your reviews but my short term/long term memory is not what it was so a re-reading is always good.
Happy New Year – or did I say that already? As I say my memory is not what it was. :-)

  19. How did you pick? I'd have a hard time and then worry I might have upset someone whose book I didn't pick. :) Time to be fearless.

    1. Brenda- Picking wasn't easy! We loved so many books we read in 2016. But- we hope anyone we didn't pick felt happy with the fact that we reviewed their book here, on Goodreads, and Amazon and shared our love for it on social media. We only review books we like- so every author whose book is reviewed here can feel happy knowing it made the cut with us. :)

      Good luck being fearless!
