The DMS Wants to Know!

Monday's Riddle was giant sized, and Lizzy's review of The BFG by Roald Dahl showed us a few interesting things about being really tall. Friday, a gypsy stopped by to take us on a trip to an elementary school with authors Jess Haight and Stephanie Robinson to find out more about the middle grade mystery The Secret Files of Fairday Morrow. Today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know: Who is your favorite story giant?

Week theme: Giants!
Have a magical day, dearies...

  2. Paul Bunyan was always fun to read, but I do love Hagrid best, I think.

  4. Hagrid, of course and his half-brother, Grawp - remember how he saves the three at the end of the fifth book, calling Hermione "Hermy!" As a kid, I loved The Ghost of Christmas Present, especially Disney's version of him.

    1. Priya- Hagrid and Grawp both have a soft spot in my heart. I will have to rewatch the Disney version of A Christmas Story. :) ~L

  5. Fezzik in The Princess Bride. I read the book and can't remember if he was a giant in there, but I know in the movie he was.

  6. I always felt that the giant in Jack and the Beanstalk was misunderstood and probably had some unresolved childhood issues.

On a slightly different note, I don't know if you have seen it but I sent you a message via FB Stephanie. The winner of my recent In Bloom giveaway could you send me a message via FB or at my email address to let me know your mailing address. Thank you. x
