The DMS Wants to Know!

Monday's Riddle was a rhyme in a bottle, and Lizzy's review of Three Times Lucky by Sheila Turnage carried us adrift on a wave of mystery. We had fun reading a very old letter with you on Top of the Heap, and Friday, it was great to share a few secrets with Natalie Standiford, author of the intriguing, new middle grade book The Secret Tree. The Fairy Tale Book Giveaway Hop has cast its spell over Fairday's Blog! Stop by the post, and let the enchantment take you to the other side of the rainbow ; ) Today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know:
If you found a message in a bottle, what would you want it to say?

We'll tell you ours, if you tell us yours!

  1. Such a fun question! Hmm, I think I'd find a historical message that talks about some old mystery (maybe a shipwreck?) to be fascinating!

  2. Ooh, that's a hard one. I suppose a manuscript would be nice or a letter and photographs that were really old OR better still a letter from someone who turned out to be an ancestor of mine - how good would that be?

  7. A clue to a mystery would be great, especially if it involved going to a tropical island.

  8. Well if I was stuck on an island my first word would be HELP! Then if I'm lucky I have some contraption with me that will let me write down what longitude and latitude I am. I also might want the person who finds the bottle to relay a message I would have for my loved ones just in case...
