The DMS Wants to Know!

Salvador Dali
Monday's Riddle was a trip into our varied perceptions, and Lizzy's review of Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen took us into the scene from two different sides of the story. Thursday on Top of the Heap, we enjoyed playing mind games with you.  ; ) Friday we were very excited to chat with Gary Paulsen and learn a little more about the story behind his exciting middle grade book, Hatchet. Today, we want to hear from you!

The DMS wants to know: If you could hear any story from another point of view, what story would you choose? From whose point of view would you want to hear it?

There's still time to enter the Young Adult Hop. Chase down Katniss and Peeta in the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins! Stop by and enter for your chance to win a copy of this amazing story, along with a signed hardcover edition of the spooky, new middle grade novel, The Secret DMS Files of Fairday Morrow by J. 1. Goodness, that's such a difficult question. I'd say I'd want to read Seraphina from Lucian Kiggs' POV. He is a VERY intriguing character. As for adult books, I'd like to read Stacia Kane's books from Terrible's POV because we know so little about him, but she's already writing the first one so we have that covered.

  3. Hmm, I thought about using Snape's POV too, but we got to see through his eyes in the last book. And I read Gollum's POV somewhere in Tolkien's books. Maybe Hunger Games through Peeta's eyes.

  5. Hmm Ok I want to read Gone with the Wind from Rhett's perspective. Love that picture, I see the old man and woman and the younger Spanish people. Really neat!

  6. I love Patty's idea (the wolf from Little Red Riding hood) and in keeping with that theme, I would like to add the giant from Jack and the beanstalk.

  7. Oh, there is so many choices.. <3 I have only ever read young adult and a few middle grade books, though. But I would have to say that I would love to read Shadow and Bone from Mal's point of view. <3 Because, well, he is amazing, and it seems like his story would be all kinds of heartbreaking :)
